Make old dell vostro laptop faster

#Old Dell with Mint OS

My customer bring to me an old dell vostro dell 1015 with CPU core 2 T9400 and 4G ddr2 and 250G HDD.He using windows os very slow, he dont want to change an other laptop because he did not use too much app.
I was tell him let check Mint OS.

1. Go to https://linuxmint.com/download.php
2.At the Cinnamon choose 32 bit or 64 bit.
3.Choose sever of your country to download ISO file.Use USB 4G to burn ISO file.
 Download Etcher, install it and run it.

Click Select image and select your ISO file.
Click Select drive and select your USB stick.
Click Flash!.

4. After finish reboot your laptop with Dell press F12,and press boot from USB with Mint Os.Wait until it login to Desktop.

5. Double click Install Linux Mint, choose language and click continue.
6.Tick install third-party software for graphics and Wifi hardware,Flash,MP3 and other media.
7.If you dont want to use Windows Os anymore choose Erase disk and install Linux Mint.
8.Country,City
9.When install complete restart your laptop.
10.Now take a look about Mint Os,with windows os i open video youtube 720P and CPU always 100%(not open any app only Chrome and one tab youtube) and Mint Os 43% ( Chrome and one tab youtube).

  I always see at this case,because you dont use your dell laptop 3-5 days or a week sometime sleep over night, and your battery is low.Now let check it.

1. Power off and remove power cord
2. Remove battery
3. Press power button and hold 15s.
4. Install battery and power cord back press power button.
Welcome home
If 4 step your laptop still hanging please remove the HDD and you need to replace it.

Dell optiplex 3010, 990, 790, 390, 960,9010, 7010 sff black screen fix and upgrade ssd

My customer give me an old dell optiplex 7010 sff and he want to fix black screen and upgrade ssd.Beacuse he dont use too much just office like word,excel,powerpoint, google chrome read news, watch youtube, facebook, twitter and  he dont want buy a new computer, save money on house rent.
1 Remove cover

2.Remove cable

3.Remove DVD
4. Push latch hdd
5.Move up HDD 
5.Remove Memory
6.Use eraser clean memory, you can upgrade more ram if you want.There ar 4 slot.
7.Remove old HDD
8. Use plastic ssd 2.5-3.5 hdd you can check it from here http://bit.ly/plasticssd.
9. Install new ssd

10. Install cable and put ssd back computer.

Done !

  # Problem with open black screen.

1. If you plug power cord and the sound: beep beep beep.look at power button if orange light flicker, please check your memory again make sure it cleaned.
2. If no beep and orange light alway flicker, replace a new Power Supply.
3. Plug power cod orange light convert to white light
and shut down that signal computer ready to work just press power button and enjoy it.

            Now to fix this error very simple.
1. Right click desktop choose Personalize and click Themes, click any theme you want.

2. If you want to change background, click picture and change it.
